But how would they persuade someone their own age or older? Ask students to write a script for a radio PSA promoting helmet use to middle and high school students. As a class, read several scripts out loud. Then ask students how and why the techniques they used differ from those used to persuade a younger person. If possible, have students read their announcements over the school’s public address system or on a local radio station.
