Ask him or her to explain how self-esteem can affect schoolwork, relationships, etc. Also ask him or her to discuss ways students can improve their self-esteem and who they can go to if they need to talk to someone. Ask students to prepare questions in advance. Have them write reports about what they learned. They can also make posters to highlight what they learned. Post these in class or around the school, if possible.
